HELMETS 2015 – new safety rules
2015 season new regulations on helmets
Helmen met het veel voorkomende BS6658-85 type A/FR keurmerk zijn niet meer geldig zijn na 31 december 2013. Helmen met het Snell SA 2000 keurmerk zijn niet meer geldig na 31 december 2014. Zie de bijlage voor de keurmerken die na 31 december 2018 niet meer geldig zijn en voor de keurmerken waarvoor nog geen einddatum bekend is en die dus de beste keus zijn als je een nieuwe helm aanschaft. Zorg er in ieder geval voor dat je nieuwe helm geschikt is voor HANS en denk ook eens na over de aanschaf van een HANS systeem. Weliswaar is een HANS systeem nog niet verplicht, maar het kan vervelend nekletsel voorkomen.
Helmets with the BS6658-85 type A / FR approval are no longer valid after 31 december 2013. Helmets with the Snell SA 2000 approval won’t be valid after 31 December 2014. See the attachment for the approvals that won’t be valid after 31 December 2018 and the approvals without a known expiration date that – of course – will be best choice if you buy a new helmet. Make sure that your new helmet is suitable for the use of the HANS system. And please do consider purchasing a HANS system. Although not mandatory yet, the HANS system can prevent you from serious neck injuries.

AARHUS GP 2015
Dear Driver at Classic Race Aarhus 2015
I really hope you will come to Aarhus and be a part of an event there is getting bigger and bigger every year.
I will try to make a short description of the event, but there is so much to say about the event.
The Craa is a famous town race and there is expected 35000 visitors.
The track is one of the best town tracks in the world. The track is placed 2 km from the centre of Aarhus and the long trackside is parallel to the bay of Aarhus and going up and down with high speed corners and chicane’s. Along the track you will be passing the royal summer residence. For visitors, there is a Goodlook street where historic cars and exhibitors will be dressed like in the good old days. Since we have make a special arrangement with Classic Race Aarhus, we will Race our own League along with the Danish Masters series. In 76-81-86 Group cars.

There is only a total of 40 cars allowed, so we need your registration at the latest 15 januar 2015. Last year the race was fully booked and there was a waiting list.
Shell is official Sponsor of the event and will provide Shell V Power fuel to your racecar.
There will be local sponsor stickers that need to be placed on the car. Buy out Price for not having sponsor stickers on the car is 250€
HOTEL/ MOTORHOMES / TENTS
We have make arrangements with a hotel 750metres from the Paddock, so its possible to sleep and get a private shower for an Absolute fair price. Big trucks and some RW can be parked on a designated area near the paddock, small RW and tents for sleeping can be arranged behind the paddock tents, but since we are using a lot of space for Hospitality, we need to narrow it a little.
PADDOCK:
We have reserved a paddock area including tents for the cars on both side of the paddock road. We have made a hospitality tent where the driver and guests can relax, and get something to eat, drink. See the Races on big screen tv or see the raceresults on computers with free WiFi. And talk to guests and race colleagues.
WHEN:
The Event is starting Thursday the 21 May 2015 where the teams arrive to the paddock and get settled. We will serve dinner in the evening, and there is time to relax and have a good time with race colleagues.
Friday the 22 May. The Classic race Aarhus opens and there are events for kids including a race for homemade Go-carts. Track walk, Training and get to know the track race. Breakfast, Lunchsandwich and Dinner will be served, including beverages.
Saturday the 23 may, RACEDAY 1 the race is on. All day event. Breakfast, and we will have serving staff and will serve fresh sandwich and dinner after the race, including beverages. Saturday evening we will make a little get-together in the tent.
Sunday the 24 May, RACEDAY 2 this is where we race for the Podium. Breakfast and we will have serving staff and serve fresh sandwich and dinner after the race, including beverages.
The race ends at 17,00 and its first possible to exit the Paddock at this time.

The Price for one car, one driver, includes: All access ticket, 3×6 metres tent in the paddock, Free Shell V power fuel, All inclusive food and drink arrangements, includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and fresh fruits all day, free Coffee, soft drinks, beers and Wine. Price 645€ all-inclusive.

Varia – Top weekend voor Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge
De Nederlandse Youngtimer klasse Company Box YTCC reed tijdens de Hockenheim Historic de eerste twee wedstrijden van het seizoen. Maar liefst 54 deelnemers uit geheel Europa hadden ingeschreven. Raceauto’s tot 1990 zijn toegestaan bij de Company Box YTCC in drie verschillende klassen en dat betekent dat de meest uiteenlopende bolides aan de start verschijnen. Van Ford Capri tot Lotus Sunbeam, van Porsche 935 K3 tot Trabant 601RS, van BMW M3 E30 tot Shelby Mustang en van Pontiac Trans Am tot VW Golf GTi. Kortom: genoeg te genieten zowel op de baan als ernaast.
De 2 races van de Company Box YTCC vonden op de zaterdagochtend en zondagmiddag plaats. Beide races kregen het publiek op de banken, niet enkel door de felle strijd op de baan in de kop van het veld, maar ook door mooie groepjes daarachter die ronde na ronde elke millimeter asfalt benutten om elkaar af te troeven waar dat kon. De grote Pontiac Trans Am van Roger Bolliger met meer dan 700pk onder de kap toonde zich een mooie tegenstander voor de altijd snelle Daniel Schrey in zijn Kremer Porsche 935K3. Race 1 won Roger nadat Daniel uitviel met een losgekomen versnellingshendel, vóór Peter Stox en Heinrich Botz, beiden in een Porsche 911. Daarachter volgde Steve Dance in een prachtige Capri, die nipt het gevecht om plek 4 won van Tjarco Jilesen (Porsche 911).
Race 2 op zondag zag weer de heren Roger Bolliger en Daniel Schrey (door uitval in de eerste race nu als laatste gestart) de show stelen. Schrey had het enorm druk om met zijn 935 K3 door het grote startveld naar voor te rijden maar wist Roger uiteindelijk wel te verschalken en won zodoende wedstrijd. De derde plaats en dus weer een plekje op het podium was er voor Peter Stox, vóór wederom de snelle Capri rijder uit Engeland Steve Dance. In de achterhoede zagen we een prachtige strijd van de BMW 325i rijders Erik van de Ven en Rob Bouwheer. 30 minuten lang reden de heren bumper aan bumper, met tot gevolg de gezapige opmerking bij Race Control dat deze twee heren maar beter samen een hotelkamer konden nemen. Als de Hockenheim Historic een voorbode was voor wat nog komen zal, dan gaat de Company Box YTCC ongetwijfeld een geweldig seizoen tegemoet. De volgende meeting wordt afgewerkt in het Deense Aarhus tijdens het Pinksterweekend van 21 t/m 24 mei.

Nurburgring Westfalen Trophy 23-24 october 2015
Omdat de Company Box YTCC dit jaar al een wedstrijd in Duitsland heeft gereden en de DMSB naar alles wat wij doen over onze schouder meekijkt gaat de wedstrijd op de Nurburgring helemaal vallen onder de organisatie van de BRAVO.
Dat beteken dat inschrijven rechtstreeks bij hun gebeurd, dat ook de reglementen van hun van toepassing zijn en keuring, inschrijving ter plekke door hen zal worden uitgevoerd.
Qua reglementen zijn YTCC en BRAVO gelijk alleen geld voor de stoelen in de auto’s bij de BRAVO maar een maximale geldigheidduur van 5 jaar en niet 10 zoals bij YTCC. Let daar dus even op.

ZANDVOORT : 3-4 oktober.
Het tijdschema vind je inmiddels op YTCC.nl. Let op wij gaan maar wegens geluid 33 deelnemers toestaan en zitten inmiddels op 28. Heb je je nog niet ingeschreven voor Zandvoort doe dat snel want vol is vol. Maximaal 92 db maar we hebben wat marge door het aantal deelnemers en de weinig rijdende raceklassen. Dus vrees niet dat je met iets teveel gelijk van de baan wordt gehaald. Kan je ver over de 100 dan is de reis naar Zandvoort natuurlijk zinloos.
Prijs 395,00. Twee trainingen en twee races. Als je al ingeschreven hebt ontvang je deze week de factuur.

British Race Festival Zandvoort 3-4 oktober – ZONNIG WEEKEINDE
Twee verschillende winnaars, prachtig weer, een gezellige sfeer en super races. Het British Race Festival kan gerust een topweekend worden genoemd voor de Company Box YTCC. Met 22 deelnemers werd er niet een supergroot startveld neergezet maar de variatie in auto’s was weer zeer groot te noemen. Geluid blijft een issue dat rijders weg blijven op dit soort evenementen maar uiteindelijk hebben ze zichzelf ermee want ze hebben daardoor wederom een super weekend gemist. Spektakel in de duinen, op een andere manier kon je het raceweekeind niet omschrijven. Met twee terechte winnaars, Mathijs Bakker in race 1 en Peter Stox in race 2.

What can we say. In the history of the YTCC we have never been more popular than for the races in 2016. Entries are already coming in from all over the world for Hockenheim, Aarhus, Dijon and Spa.
HOCKENHEIM 15-17 April
For Hockenheim we can provide 100 cars. But be quick if you didn’t fill in your registration form yet because we have already 60 registrations back in our office and its only November. Price 675 euro, that includes a big party BBQ (for your whole team) and we will provide you with lots of pictures of the event from yourself and that car that you just missed to pass before the finish line. All details at calender on this site.
AARHUS 27-29 May
Aarhus is going to be the event of the year you really want to drive. Yes it’s a street race and yes you are going to shit your pants between the big concrete walls. But believe us after one fast lap around the park in Aarhus you never want to leave the town anymore. Already 12 drivers are on the list for Aarhus that means that we only have 18 grid positions left over there. The price for Aarhus will be 650 euro. BUT, for that you will get a place in the paddock in your own big tent, breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks for the whole weekend 3 days. So you don’t have to bring anything. For the rest of the crew 140 euro each an children 75 euro extra.
SPA SUMMER CLASSIC 24-26 June
Flat out to the top of the hill, yes you can. It’s a long time ago that with the YTCC we drove at Spa. But we are back. This wonderful magic circuit you have to drive once in your life. Or twice, three times, four…. J. To drive in Spa is expensive. Yes it is, and we thought a long time over it if we would go as YTCC or not. Price will be 695,00 euro. For 2x 25 minutes practice and two races of each 30 minutes. All information will be soon available on website.
DIJON 7-9 October
One thing we are sure of. French wines and French cheese are something you can’t live without. The same with racing in France. Yes this year we had Le Mans. And that’s also possible in 2016. If you want we make it happen. But Dijon is already as organiser for 5 years on our most wanted list. And for a lot of YTCC drivers we know also. We found the event where you want to be. Dijon Motors Cup. The weekend will be 2x 25 minutes practice and two races. Price 495,00 euro. Registration is possible from 1st of December on website.
And there is more. YTCC is working hard to get an extra race in the Netherlands where we can make noise so everybody can race with a smile on its face through the Dunes of Zandvoort. The direction of the circuit is working hard on it because they really want to see us at their circuit. But racing with noise restrictions as we did in the past with YTCC is not possible anymore. So only if they let us get out of our cage in terms of noise we are going to race there again.
To you all a fine December month with we hope lots and lots of laughter and family time. Don’t spend every minute in the garage. Family is also important. Racing is all about having fun with them and your friends. April will be the first race. 2016 is going to be magic.

Samenwerking HARC en YTCC
Samenwerking YTCC en HARC
Naar aanleiding van negatieve berichten in social media over de rol van de HARC bij het oprichten van een nieuw Nederlands Kampioenschap ’82-’90 en de positie van YTTC in deze, hebben de besturen van beide organisaties overleg gepleegd. Daaruit is het volgende voortgekomen:
- YTTC steunt de opzet van het NK HARC ’82-’90.
- YTTC laat aan rijders zelf de keuze indien hun voertuig voldoet aan NK reglementen mee te doen aan dit nieuwe NK HARC ’82-’90.
- YTTC werkt samen met NK HARC ’82-’90 bij deelname aan evenementen buiten Nederland. Daarbij zal de organisatie in handen zijn van YTCC.
Dit alles is in goede harmonie en tot volle tevredenheid van beide besturen tot stand gekomen en wij verheugen ons op de samenwerking.
